Subject: Support for Mayor Kim's Veto o/ Bill l0I
Aloha,
Happy New Year toeveryone!
Hope you Q'your families had egreat Holiday Season!
I would like to show support for Mayor Kim's veto because his reasons are very accurate and to the point.
Also, bytaking away the "tools"that are on the prohibited list,we would be losing the opportunity to control resistant
weeds like marestail or horseweed (most everyone has it but cannot control it) using Glufosinate Ammonium (very
effective).
It's also very safe &can be used to create clean edges around the perimeters of lawn areas(for aesthetic purposes)
because it's not systemic herbicide.
There's also the new"tool" called "Vastlan" (which is a derivative of one of the "prohibited" herbicides)that has a very
broad use label for controlling vines, broadleaf weeds&shrubs, and can be used almost everywhere(including parks,
aquatics, non crop residential areas)wfnoodor 0' novolatility. This will beevery important tool that will become very
popular soon because it'll replace an existing product that has a very strong odor& is pretty volatile.
Mahalo for your time&efforts and am extremely grateful for Mayor Kim's veto of Bill 101.
It would be great if everyone would look at the whole picture and realize that we are very fortunate to live in Paradise

balance in our pristine environment and do not need any"outside" special interest groups trying to force their agenda
onto us.
Aloha Q' Maha|o,
