I support the intent of Resolution 432-20 to establish an Audit of the Zoning and Subdivision Codes,
which are quite old and need to be re-worked,versus the patchwork we have today. There are
certainly changes that need to be made to bring these codes current to the modern world we live in.

I would ask that the Council consider the timing of the implementation of any changes, however, so
as not to cause too much confusion for the public nor duplicative work for the Planning Department
staff in regards to the on-going revision of the General Plan. On-going project by developers and the
County need to have some certainty that the rules are not going to be changed during their time-
consuming processing, or at least have some idea of timing.
