Subject: Ordinance Amending Ordinance# 19-74 :Waikoloa Village Intersection
Aloha Honorable Council.
I write in favor of corrective action for the Waikoloa Road/Waikoloa Village Highway intersection.
I am a retired mainland State Trooper having had investigative experience in tragic highway crashes.
It is my opinion that the Waikoloa Road/Waikoloa Village intersection is presently dangerous and will become
increasingly dangerous with additional vehicle and pedestrian traffic from the new shopping center now under
construction. I have personally observed confusion navigating the intersection from drivers which are not from
the area.
Please accept my written testimony as in favor of corrective actions at this highway intersection.
