It is my pleasure to nominate Justin Lee of Council District 3 to the Board of Appeals. Mr. Lee is
currently employed with the State of Hawaii as a Deputy Public Defender.
Mr. Lee was born and raised on Oahu, currently resides on the Island of Hawaii and serves on
numerous community organizations, including the Hawaii County Bar Association and William
S. Richard School of Law Alumni Association.
Mr. Lee is not affiliated with any political party and if confirmed he will serve a 4-year term to
end December 31, 2023.
