Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a new multi-year lease agreement for a color copy machine for the Office of the
Mayor. The estimated monthly cost will be approximately$360. The lease for the copier
currently being used has expired.

A. REQUEST:
To enter into a multi-year lease agreement for three (3) years for a copy machine to be located at the
Mayor's Office in Hilo.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The lease on the current copier has expired. The present machine is continuously being repaired which
causes many non-operational periods. The Department is anticipating a monthly lease of no more than 36
months (3-year lease) at approximately $360 per month.
The cost per copy shall not exceed BW per page rate is $.0050 (current BW monthly average is 1,681)
Calor per page rate is $.0050 (current color monthly average is 2,313).
