Aloha Councilmembers,
Mahalo for those of you who saw the need and supported the Pesticide Ban Bill 101. This is
what we really need!! People all over the planet are dying from cancer due to glyphosate
poisoning. We had the opportunity to end the poisoning of public land where children play.
With the $$millions in lawsuits, don't we think,we are putting the County at risk for lawsuits
from people affected? I personally know two people who were affected by the overspray from
County spraying. One now has chronic upper respiratory damage and the other has diminished
vision and possibly could go blind. This resolution is not enough and my concern is that then the
County will "assume" it has done its job in protecting the land and the people. NOT SO!
PLEASE OPPOSE THIS.
WE CAN DO BETTER BY OUR TAXPAYERS.
