Aloha members of the County Council,
I am writing in support of Resolution 475-20. This bill is much more likely to stand up to expensive
lawsuits as the previously passed and vetoed bill, as it strikes a much better balance toward science and
rationality.There also will not be the dramatic cost increases which the other bill guaranteed.
All such proposals should pass scientific muster. Regardless, please solicit testimony from qualified,
unbiased scientists in this field,as there are many within our UH system alone.
