Oppose Resolution 275-20

Dear Hawaii island council members,
I write to request that you OPPOSE resolution 475-20. We all know why: we had an opportunity to
make a real difference with Bill 101 and that was ruined. To those who voted against the clear will of
the people,and Mayor Kim, in favor of corporate interests,you should be ashamed of yourselves. To
those of you who worked hard to pass Bill 101, 1 thank you for your work and for doing the right thing;
we,the people you are representing,see you and appreciate you.
I can understand why those in the latter group might be compelled to vote in favor of this resolution,
perhaps not to be seen as voting *against* a supposedly earth-friendly effort. I ask you to hold your
ground, however, please,and not fall for this complete madness. Hold out for change that is
meaningful.
It is phenomenal that voters have to keep fighting so hard for something that we have wanted for years
(to finally put an end to poisoning our precious island). But we will keep at it until the job is done.
*Please* oppose this greenwashing resolution. We all know the truth!
