Aloha Council,

I am writing to help support my fellow community members to advocate for proper public
access to both Kole Kole and Hakalau Beach Park. Please remember the years of
history these beaches have brought to the people of Hamakua. By keeping the gates
locked off to the public you are keeping our children from learning to connect with our
aina, enjoy the resources of our island and keep connected to future care for our island.
PLEASE DO WHAT YOU CAN TO ALLOW ACCESS TO OUR COMMUNITY.
