Members of the Council,
My name is Melanie Chong. I am a resident of Honomu and would like to express my concern
for the extended closure of Kolekole &Hakalau beach parks. This closure has been a detriment
and disservice to the not only the youth of our own community but to the visiting foreign and
domestic tourism industry. Please help us find a way to reopen these natural landmarks and
restore the beauty and respect of our Hawai'i Nei.
