Kolekole and Hakalau Park Openings

Hawaii County Council Chairperson and Members;
Please authorize the work so Kolekole and Hakalau beach parks can reopen as soon as
possible. I and my spouse are residents of Hakalau and can tell you that local people use our
beach park even though it is closed, they walk down the path or go around the gate and down the
road. It would be much safer for all if we actually had the road open and a port-a-potty down
there for sanitary reasons. Kolekole needs to be open as well, it gets used by the neighborhood
above the park and actually would bring revenue from the camp sites. We all would love to be
able to use our local parks, the Hamakua coast is so beautiful. Thank you for your time
