SUBJECT: Request for Update on FEMA 428 program Submittals by County Agencies
By means of this communication, I am requesting a 15-minute update followed by a 30-minute
discussion with the Recovery Team regarding the status of the County's FEMA 428 submittals
as it relates to the 2018 Kilauea eruption and restoration of County assets.
I am also requesting the Recovery Team provide clarity on the process for helping kipuka
residents and farmers regain access to their properties.
Please place this on the appropriate committee agenda for March 10, 2020.
