SUBJECT: An Ordinance Amending Chapter 2 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition,As
Amended)Relating to Disaster Relief Funds
Attached is a bill for an ordinance amending Chapter 2, by adding a new article relating to the
appropriation of disaster relief funds to eligible nonprofit organizations to provide relief,
recovery, mitigation, and remediation assistance for disaster damage caused by the 2018 Kilauea
eruption.
