The original appropriation for Program Year (PR) <br /> 2019 for CDBG funds was $2,500,000, bringing the new total to $2,646,713. The additional <br /> funds will be used towards the renovation and construction cost at the Hale Maluhia Homeless <br /> Shelter. <br /> The Office of Housing and Community Development is requesting that this bill be waived from <br /> the Finance Committee and be placed on the March 11, 2020 Council Agenda in order to <br /> expedite the receiptrof these funds.
