Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 139,reports as follows:
Bill No. 139, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 759 dated
January 30, 2020, amends Ordinance No. 19-73, as amended,the Operating Budget for the County
of Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2020.
This bill appropriates revenues in the Operating Reserves account ($10,000); and appropriates the same
to the Workers Compensation account. Funds would be used for the Office of Housing and Community
Development 's Workers Compensation, Regular Salary and Wages account to pay out unbudgeted
Worker's Compensation expenditures.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill 139, and recommends its
passage on first reading.
