COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 541 2a
WHEREAS, the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators
(AAMVA) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) are
donating funds to the County of Hawaii Department of Finance for travel and other
expenses to attend the 2020 CDL Coordinator's/IT Meeting in Orlando, Florida;
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Department of Finance recommends
approval of this donation by AAMVA; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides
that the council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money,
securities, or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate;
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, , in
accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the
County of Hawaii, accepts this donation.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of
this resolution to the Department of Finance and the Office of the Mayor:
