RESOLUTION NO, 542 20
RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW TEMPORARY
POSITIONS FOR THE HAWAII COUNTY OFFICE OF THE
MAYOR
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii was awarded federal funding from
the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Program
(CDBG-DR); and
WHEREAS, the creation of one (1) new, temporary position is
required to receive this funding; and
WHEREAS, the position indicated above is an Internal Auditor
(Temp) that will be funded through the CDBG-DR grant; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawaii County Charter
states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions...for which
appropriations have been made by the council..."; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that one (1) Internal Auditor (Temp) position be created in the
Hawaii County Office of the Mayor.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
transmitted to the Office of the Mayor and the Departments of Finance and
Human Resources.
