It is my pleasure to nominate Corey Luke of Council District 9 to the Fire Commission.
Mr. Luke is a retired electrical engineer with the Department of Navy where he worked
as a civilian employee.
Mr. Luke holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineer from Texas A & M
University in College Station, Texas. He was born and raised in North Kohala, but
spent over 35 years on the mainland for his higher education and career. He returned
home to Hawaii after his retirement in 2014.
Mr. Luke states he is not a member of any political party. If confirmed, he will serve a
5-year term to end December 31, 2024.
