It is my pleasure to nominate Daniel Paleka of Council District 5 to the Fire Commission.
Mr. Paleka is a small business owner and a former member of the Hawaii County
Council.
Mr. Paleka holds a BA degree in Political Science from the University of Hawaii at Hilo
and is a life long resident of Hawaii County.
Mr. Paleka states he is not a member of any political party. If confirmed, he will serve a
vacant term to end December 31, 2022.
