SUBJECT: Request for an update on emergency plans and programs
By means of this communication I am requesting a 15 minute update followed by a 30 minute
discussion with Civil Defense on the County's plans and programs in the event of a disaster or
emergency as Section 7-3 of the Hawaii County Code mandates that such plans and programs be
transmitted to the council for review and approval by March 31 of each year.
