Re: Resolution—Urging the Honorable Governor David Y. Ige to Direct and Mandate
Strict and Uniform Lockdown Measures Throughout the State of Hawaii to
Address the COVID-19 Pandemic
Governor Ige's Supplementary Proclamation dated March 16, 2020, suspended the provisions of
Chapter 92, Hawaii Revised Statutes, in part to allow boards to act in a timely manner with
consideration for addressing the COVID-19 pandemic.
The attached resolution is intended for deliberation and vote during the March 20, 2020,
Emergency Meeting of the County Council.
