This resolution authorizes the ability to create one new temporary Legal Clerk II position for the County of Hawaii Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to provide additional support for the East Hawaii District Court Clerical Unit. No was no discussion. Pursuant to Hawaii CountyCharter Section 5-1.3(c),the Mayor has the power to create positions "for which"appropriations have been made by the council."
