Re: Proposed Amendments to Communication No. 605, Bill 115, Operating Budget
On October 31, 2019, Bill 115 was transmitted to Council with a cover letter
(Communication no. 605)to increase the current fiscal year's estimated revenues and
appropriation to the Mauna Kea Costs accounts in the amount of$10,000,000. After
further review, we respectfully request that amendments be made as follows:
o appropriate $ 5,342,262 in the State Grants—Mauna Kea Costs revenue account
(account number 010.3306.17)
o appropriate $5,342,262 to Mauna Kea Costs expenditure account (account number
010.911.5913.48).
Please amend Bill 115 to reflect the proper amounts as indicated in Exhibit A, attached.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 19-73,AS AMENDED,THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30,2020.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 19-73, as amended, is hereby further amended by appropriating revenues in the
following amount(s)to the fund(s)as set forth in Section 2.

SECTION 2. The foregoing amount(s)as specified in Section 1 hereof is/are hereby appropriated to the following
