Re: Salary Ordinance of 2020
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to be known as the Salary Ordinance of 2020.
Section 3 is amended to reflect the addition of the following pay grade steps:
AD Step Q $54,774
Step R $57,510
Step S $60,384
Step T $63,408
AU Step M $78,108
Step N $82,014
Step 0 $86,112
Step P $90,420
The language in the first paragraph of page 3 was changed for clarity, and Section 7.01(a) was
amended to remove and abolish the Administrative Assistant to the County Clerk position and create a
Private Secretary position. Section 7.02(b) reflects the removal of the Housing Community and
Development Worker I, Housing Community and Development Worker II and Housing and
Community Development Worker III_.Also in this section, the positions of Contracts Clerk,
Professional Trainee I and Information Systems Analyst IV were added.
Minimum wages are anticipated to increase in January 2021. Should this occur, an amendment to the
salary ordinance will be submitted. Should you have any questions, please contact Michele Lamkin or
