Aloha, I am a 52 year old lifelong resident of east hawaii and I
currently live and work in Hilo. I would like to express my concerns about the mayors non
compliance with the state's recommendations for quarantine and social distancing. Mayor Kim is
out of touch with the realities and severity of this outbreak and is putting not just the Big island,
but the entire state in severe risk. The county of Hawaii must act immediately to stop the spread
of Corona virus. We are weeks, if not months,behind and the consequences of our inaction will
be horrific. If the rest of the state is able to get the virus under control and we sit here and do
nothing it will do irreparable damage to our health, our economy and our reputation. Please act
now!
