Aloha,
I am writing this express the serious concerns I with Mayor Harry Kim acting in ways counter to helping
to shut down the Corona virus Spending on the Big Island.
His allowing bars and restaurants to make their choices about whether to stay open or shut down? He
needs to take a leadership position And shut these businesses down for 2 weeks, NOW! Fortunately a lot
of businesses have shut down and I am sure the community appreciates it and I am sure people's
businesses will suffer and people will be inconvenienced, but this is for the greater good.All of us are
going to need to make Sacrifices during this time. I do not think the mayor is serving or listening to the
needs of the people.
Please as the council convince him to do what needs to be to protect the welfare of the people.
