To: Council Testimony
Please shut down bars, restaurants and require that only take out food be made available from
restaurants. Social Distancing where absolutely necessary should be floor markers every 7 to 10 feet,
adequate hand sanitizers available. Require grocery to deliver to quarantined people. The only way we
can stop the spread is to shut things down. Even dogs get quarantined but tourists get to roam
freely! That makes no sense. We must act since infected people without symptoms are free to interact
with anyone they can get near.
As a bankruptcy lawyer, I am being inundated with calls for financial help. People whose incomes have
stopped need to know there is an end in sight. As long as we have people flying in and people
wandering the streets,we are at risk. Someone needs to take the bull by the horns and forget about
reelection and help stop the spread of the virus so we can have an end in sight.
