My name is Marlene Hall I own a Lucy's Taqueria in downtown Hilo, we are a
restaurant with a small bar.
We have been open as usual, trying to provide some normalcy for people during this
time, and to keep our employees employed until the end.
But Our vote would be to do as California is doing. Everyone has to be on the
same time line, in sync while trying to combat this, everyone has to stay home, all
people coming to the island need be under a mandatory quarantine for the 14 days,
basically if we could turn our island into a safe bubble, I think this would clear our
island within 2-3 weeks, and we could all live safely within our bubble.
We would need to keep the mandatory quarantine until the world is cleared.
