Aloha,
I am sure all of you know the facts regarding the current status on the pandemic. I am sure you are also
aware of the concept of flattening the curve. I believe we need to put all else aside and take drastic
measures to flatten the curve.
I work in hospitality and‘this is what I have been seeing. Unfortunately people have this idea that they're
in Hawaii and all is now just great. I see people obviously ignoring social distancing. People believe the
sunshine is gonna make everything a'okay. I also have heard many people on vacation where I work just
pissed off that things aren't open "for them".Aside from acting just like ignorant asses they have a real
la de dah attitude. It is up to you folks on the council at this point to lock it down. Lock it down NOW
let's be proactive and take the advise of scientists.We can not weigh the economics at this point we
need to stop the wildfire of people coming from everywhere to cruise in Hawaii.
We need to protect our fragile islands. Please do the right thing.
