Mandatory Quarantine Date MAR 2 0 2020

Aloha,
I am a life-long resident here on the Big Island of Hawaii and am writing in hopes to
persuade our local government to put a mandatory 14 day quarantine into effect for,all persons
arriving on our island. In addition to this, we should have an island wide mandatory lockdown,
urging all residents to stay home to help prevent the inevitable spread of Covid 19 on our island.
Our hospitals are not equipped to handle the influx of sick individuals that will in fact happen in
the very near future if you don't make these immediate changes now to protect everyone in
Hawaii. It's not too late to keep our island safe from this virus. Tt's only a matter of time before it
spreads here and spreads quickly, as evidence has shown. The Waimea ER only has TI-TREE
beds m the ICU. We are not equipped:For this pandemic. PLEASE I urge you to take action
NOW!
