We have many people who are vulnerable in our community, and from seeing what is happening nationwide and worldwide, we need you to take active measures to reduce the spread of this pandemic. My ohana has many members who are most at risk, and I know that the first confirmed COVID-19 case was in Hilo, very close to where many of my family and friends live and work. - I urge you to allow county workers to work from home, if possible. I urge you to take more measures to allow workers to use technology to do their jobs remotely, or allow them to practice social distancing. I urge you to close the county offices for at least a few weeks. I urge you to do whatever needed to get more tests, and test as many people as possible so we can stop the spread of COVID-19. I urge you to do more to stop sick tourists from coming into our island home. I urge you to do more to protect our kupuna, our island ohana. PLEASE DO MORE. The more aggressive we are about social distancing and being proactive about preventing the spread of COVID-19,the healthier our community will be. Meetings can wait or be done remotely. Nothing is more important than keeping our community safe. Mahalo, Amber Imai-Hong Keaau Resident Comm. No. o Ul Ref. To:11/Nog. Ref. Date W' R 2 0 2020
