I believe any arrivals to our island should be quarantined for 2 weeks upon arrival. We do not have the intensive care units or ventilators needed to sustain the most vulnerable in our community once this virus begins spreading. Our medical professionals should not be put in the position to decide who deserves to live and who deserves to die. Shutting down the county and shutting-in for a two week short season will ultimately strengthen our community, our island, our county. Please give against this virus bymandatingshelter-in-place now. Big Island a chance -Schools have shut down! -Churches have shut down! -Businesses are shutting down voluntarily little by little! -There are still a select few non-essential business that will remain open until it is mandated to close!
