COVID-19 SHUTDOWN

Aloha Mayor,
I would like to voice my opinion in that businesses (non-essential)should be closed for at least two
weeks and more than likely 30 days to prevent the pandemic from reaching numbers that overwhelm
our healthcare systems and put our families at risk. Listen to the health care professional as and the
governor. My health means more to me than my job. I shouldn't have to choose between saving my life
or going to work and being fearful the whole time.
As we speak I have been turned away for COVID testing by Hilo medical center because I don't meet the
guidelines and aren't showing signs of infection. Of course I don't, it incubates for two weeks so why
wait until it's too late? Please take heed of what the people in the medical fields are telling you,you're
not a doctor, don't play with our lives for the sake of a dollar.
