should be take-out only, if open at all.
Given that we now have only travel-based confirmed corona virus cases,not
community-spread yet that we know of, it seems the County Health Dept. or State
Dept. of Health should immediately be advising r�estaurants-- especially urgent are
the ones full of travelers!-- with very specific guidance for surface cleaning to
remove any virus contamination, as well as recommended social distancing
seating. I am a senior, arid do not want to be infected nor infect others with a life-
threatening virus.
The restaurant workers are probably stressed enoagh worrying about having jobs
during this pandemic, without having to have customers challenging them for their
sanitation practices at every table. If there were sjecific pandemic-related State or
County guidance, the restaurant could post a sign) advising potential customers that
they were following best practice guidance from nubile health officials at this time,
and patrons might feel more secure eating in or getting take-out from their
facilities. Unless I see something posted like that I will not go into any more
restaurants on this island --dine in or take out--until the pandemic is over.
