Aloha Council, please follow your own civil defense guidelines,guidelines from the lieutenant governor
and other Hawaii mayors, and begin acting to shut Hawaii Island down.The County building should close
along with all restaurants and bars.We're way behind in testing and have no idea what the true
numbers are. I can't believe our safety first mayor is acting so out of step with the rest of the state and
nation. I live with my 86 year old mother.This is life and death. Please listen to the lieutenant governor
and use common sense. I can't believe we're being told to use social distancing, but when I go into Hilo
it looks like absolute business as usual.This cannot continue. Please begin the common sense measures
taking place around the world to keep our island, keiki and kupuna safe.
