Coronavirus Concerns

To: Council Testimony
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am horrified at the attitude that has so far been exhibited during the virus pandemic. Measures have
not been taken to protect our family,friends and all of the residents,and guests from this life
threatening virus.
I urge you to follow the recommendations and actions of other states and communities who have made
testing for the virus available for any person who requires it,without the limitations imposed (such as
recent travel outside the US).
Restricting people to self quarantine for all but essential workers appears to be effective in other places.
I have many health compromised family members and two nurses who risk infection every day serving
their community. I would hope that we can work together as a large, extended family to protect all
emergency workers, at risk families and indeed, everyone with whom we are privileged to share these
beautiful islands.
I certainly appreciate your assistance with ensuring our safety and your willingness to open the dialogue
to discuss ways to improve.
