RE: Resolution No. 562-20, Draft 2; Resolution Authorizing the Office of the Mayor
to enter into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development, Pursuant to HRS 46-7, for a Community Development Block Grant
Attached please find Resolution 562-20, as amended to Draft 2. Resolution No. 562-20 was
amended via a verbal amendment at the Council meeting on April 8, 2020, to correct the grantor
in the Title to "U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development".
The Council suspended Rule No. 14(3)(e), which requires that substantive amendments be
presented in writing, and subsequently suspended Rule No. 24(1)(e), which requires that final
action on amended legislation be taken at its next regular meeting, and adopted Resolution
No. 562-20, Draft 2.
