RESOLUTION NO.. 588 20
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST WITH THE PURCHASE OF A
REFRIGERATOR FOR THE HILO ARMORY CONCESSION AREA.
WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division,plans,
conducts, arranges, and promotes organized recreation and athletic activities for all age groups at
recreation centers and facilities throughout the County of Hawai`i; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation rents its facilities for community
events and wants to provide refrigeration capacity for the sponsors of such events to keep food
safe; and
WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation requests funding assistance to-pay
for the purchase of a new refrigerator for the Hilo Armory concession area; now,therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation to assist with the purchase of a new refrigerator for the Hilo Armory
concession area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
