Mandatory Closures and Quarantine People on Arriving Flights
To: Council Testimony
County Council -We need to protect the people of Hawaii Island - by stopping incoming
passenger flights or at least requiring mandatory quarantine of any arriving passengers so that
we can protect our island from the spread of this COVID 19 VIRUS and keep our medical system
functioning. We, here on the Big Island, have been short of medical services for a long time and
now we are truly taxed to provide the care our people need. If we don't put a stop to incoming
carriers we will soon be out of medical resources- please do the right thing and save lives.
