Aloha! I am a customer service agent for Hawaiian Airlines at Kona international airport. At the
airlines we are in direct contact with travelers from all over the country and all over the world on
a daily basis. Airfare prices have dropped and people see it as a motivation to travel among many
other reasons why people are traveling at this time.
My plea to you is: Please save Hawaii while you can! Please shut down airports ASAP and keep
infected travelers away from us!
PLEASE SAVE OUR LIVES WHILE YOU CAN!
We don't have the resources that other places have here on the islands. The situation is getting
worse everywhere else in the world and it's just a matter of time until things get worse here in
Hawaii too. If we don't isolate ourselves now, most of us will catch the virus and potentially die.
That's the harsh truth.
Money isn't everything. Without people, companies won't make any money. Our health is
priceless.
Please save us all!
