BY Urgent Request Date MAR 2 0 2020 To: Council Testimony Aloha Mayor Kim, Many of us in the public were shocked and dismayed over your reluctance to take immediate drastic action to curb the spread of Covid-19 here on the Big Island. A letter written by 92 Hawaii doctors and health care providers was sent to Governor Ige. Perhaps you missed it, so I attached a copy for you. Now Lt. Gov. Josh Green has responded to Val Poindexter's request for drastic action. I have that attached as well. Your approach is jeopardizing the health of our most vulnerable Big Island citizens. Please rethink your approach to this. You were the one who rightfully brought out that the Council didn't have the expertise to properly evaluate the Roundup issue. The same is true of you and Covid- 19. Follow the advice of those who understand the seriousness of this pandemic. Mahalo for your consideration. , Don Rudny ir It we want to win, e dp this.. l i . .
