Good morning-I am the single mother of 13 year old twins with Nemaline Myopathy, a rare muscle
disease that significantly affects their breathing muscles resulting in chronic lung disease and other
secondary ailments.A simple cold could result in a hospital stay for both of them.This virus can easily
become deadly if either one of them contracted it. I am trying my absolute best to protect them at all
costs.

We live in Waimea and have been in self-quarantine for almost one week now, not having any contact
with family or friends. I am furious with the amount of tourists coming to Big Island,the extremely
inexpensive airline fares are practically incentivizing it. We have limited resources in our island,
especially hospital beds and ICU space. PLEASE, I implore Hawai'i County to ban outside travel to ours
island. My keiki and our kupuna's health is on the line!!!
