The county should not be footing the bill just because Ige decided to hand off the protesters mess to Harry Kim.
This is a billion dollar international project with full legal approval of the state. To put the costs of the local
protesters on the shoulders of the county is.senseless. Hawaii county is already in a financially bad condition
. and it's only getting worse. These costs should go to the state who can then in turn see the impact of their poor
decisions and attempt to pass them off for federal relief if they wish and maybe realize this is a problem they
need to make a decisive decision on.
