Dear Hawaii County Council members,
First of all, I want to express my respect for the work you have been doing!
As you may know, I have testified twice in person concerning the use of the County police on Mauna Kea.
As I am unable to physically be present, I wish to testify in writing.
As written, I am opposed to resolution 568-20.
i would be in favor of reimbursing the County police for the overtime payments owed them,
only if: 1)the overtime payments are specified,and 2) if a termination date on the MOU is set at December
31, 2019.
