Subject: Agenda Item#568-20
My name is Robert and I oppose the Agenda Item#568-20,which allows for the reimbursement for the use of law
enforcement for an unlimited amount of time. I would like to ensure that the County Council and mayor Harry Kim
knows that any attempt of TMT construction during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic is inconceivable, irresponsible,
and will cause more harm than good.The County Council and mayor Harry Kim will be held accountable for putting our
beloved HPD officers,constructions workers, and community members at major health risk. It is very irresponsible for
our government to continue to throw away millions of dollars of tax payer money towards the harassment of
community members who are standing up for what they believe is right.We have many other issues here in Hawai'i that
we should be using our tax payers money to address,especially during this time of pandemic. It shows that our
government has very little concern for the safety and health of our community members. I oppose the Agenda Item
#568-20 due to the highly irresponsible use of tax payer money.
