Subject: RESOLUTION NO. 568-20 AND MOA
I am writing in OPPOSITION TO RESOLUTION No.568-20 authorizing the Office of the Mayor to Enter into a Grant
Agreement with the State of Hawaii Pursuant to HRS 46-7,for a Grant to the County of Hawaii and memorandum of
agreement(MOA).
The Resolution in its present form does not show a specific TOTAL reimbursement dollar amount nor does it show an
expense report itemizing how much was spent on overtime and for whom, how much was spent on supplies and what
those supplies were, equipment and what those equipment items were and the other expenses is also not specified. The
MOA in its present form does not state December 31, 2019 as the termination date for law enforcement services
provided.

Both are open-ended and, in my opinion, is an underhanded way of doing business. ISm
