Subject: Testimony in Support of Comm 855, Resolution 568-20
Aloha Hawaii County Council Members,
I am a Hawaii island resident writing in support of Resolution 568-20. I am deeply concerned about the county's
budget, and feel strongly that the state should be responsible for paying for costs incurred by law enforcement
for a state project. I believe that the county needs the money from the state, and the county should be
reimbursed for the costs incurred due to the standoff on Maunakea.
Hawaii County has a lot of expenses, I understand this. As a resident,I urge you to pass Resolution 568-20 so
that the county can be reimbursed for expenses the State should have paid for in the first place.
