Resolution 586-20
To: Council Testimony
To all involved,
I am writing to express my concerns about resolution 586-20. It is astonishing that so many new
rules are made for one project. The special treatment this project has received is completely
unfair. I have also seen how much the residents of this island are against said project. The only
reason I can see you all pushing this is for financial gain. Please consider this "When the last tree
is cut down, the last fish eaten, and the last stream poisoned, will we realize that we cannot eat
money". We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors,we borrow it from our children. What
will your legacy be? Will you be the one to keep Hawai`i as close to it's natural state or continue
building it up and ruin everything that makes her the beauty that she is?? Please do the right
thing. Say no to Resolution 586-20. I beg of you to give us a voice. Please. Help us protect what
little we have left. Mahalo for your time. Take care and be safe.
