Subject: I strongly OPPOSE RESO 568-20 & MOA/Memorandum of Agreement!
Aloha Gentlepersons,
I am writing in to strongly oppose Reso 568-20 &MOA/Memorandum of Agreement. At this time, there .
should be no open ended money for anything. It was bad enough that the State and County of Hawaii took such
aggressive, intimidating and expensive actions against members of our community. These folks sacrificed
everything for the love of a mountain. That mountain top is conservation land-not an industrial park.`
Hawaii County should be reimbursed only for expenses incurred until 12/31/19. No termination date or a
termination date of 5 years is not acceptable. It isn't our problem, the tax payors-that the state and county
mishandled.the reimbursement arrangements. There is no monetary cap and no end date. The COH should know
the exact amount owed.

Ultimately,the County and State of Hawai`i represents its constituents and residents-not a multi-national
corporation who used shady tactics,payouts, manipulation andattorneys to push for a massively unpopular and
environmentally destructive project. We demand that there be accountability. This is our tax money.
