ill n inopposition a enda item #568-20 that allows reimbursement for the use of

law enforcement against "protesters" of TMT for an unlimited period of time. Hawaii County should only
be reimbursed for expenses incurred until December 31, 2019. This is stated in the agenda and not the actual"
resolution. There is no termination date on the actual resolution. It states "This MOA shall be terminated once
the joint operation to respond to the TMT protest has ended, or otherwise upon mutual agreement of the parties.
There is no total amount of funds on the resolution. By this time,the COH should know exactly how much is
owed.
I would also like to add due to this pandemic of COVID-19 that City Council and Mayor Kim attempting to
begin TMT construction will be putting our community, Island, everyone at risk. That all participating in
attempting to build the TMT should be held responsible for any and all repercussions resulting from any and all
construction attempts if you proceed at this time.
